Share your favorite One Piece quotes here!
My personal favorite is Roger's:
"Inherited will. People's dream. The flow of time. As long as man continues to seek for freedom, these things will never cease to be!"
I've always love that since it evokes the most the spirit of One Piece as a series. Seeking for freedom. Living for your dreams.
Dr. Hiluluk's, though, is the best in the entire series:
"When does a man die? When he is shot through the chest with a pistol? No. When he suffers from an incurable disease? No. When he eats up a soup made out of a poisonous mushroom? No! A man dies... when he is forgotten!"
One of Oda's most brilliant hour as a writer. Just so amazingly written.

I have to say, my favorite quote is that one some random WG guy said at Enies Lobby: "S-Sir! Franky's ass... is inflating!"
Cracks me up everytime.
Usopp has some great quotes too. Oh, and Luffy, back on Arlong Park when he said "Of course I can't use swords! I don't know how to navigate a ship! And I can't cook! I can't even lie! I know I need my friends in order to move forward."
Maybe those were not the exact words, but I love it. When someone from the crew refers to Luffy as the future Pirate King too.
Oh, and I almost forget another favorite quote of mine from Rayleigh, regarding Roger's execution: "I never laughed more than on that day. I never cried more than on that day either."

Another one that stood out for me was Bon-chan's:
"One may stray from the path of a man, one may stray from the path of a woman, but there is no straying from the path of a HUMAN! All friends must scatter into the sky of truth and blossom...OKAMA WAY!"
The moment where Bon-chan and how he said that (Yao was such an amazing seiyuu) will always bring tears to my eyes.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned DD's most famous lines...
Pirates are evil!!? The Marines are righteous!!? These terms have always changed throughout the course of history! Kids who have never seen peace and kids who have never seen war have different values. Those who stand at the top determine what's wrong and what's right. This very place is neutral ground! Justice will prevail, you say? But of course it will! Whoever wins this war becomes justice!
EPICNESS. I loved how it totally depicts the black and white in the world of One Piece.

Reminds me of Luffy's past line before when Camie offered only shellfish to Luffy and he was like "Shellfish isn't meat! Don't insult meat!" XD |
